The Unique Micro Design Scan-Rite� Model 641A-02 is a portable hand held RFID microchip reader that has been specifically configured to meet the needs of the equine industry to confirm the identity of microchipped horses.

The reader�s SD Memory Card is loaded with a database of tagged horses which includes name, brands and markings, allowing for on the spot verification.

Platform Product

The Scan-Rite� can decode standard 134.2KHz Half and Full Duplex tags. It has been developed as a platform product that can be uniquely configured and programmed to meet a variety of end-customer and OEM applications.
 
The Scan-Rite� is typically used to read RFID tags in animals such as cows, horses, pets and sheep. The tags may be subcutaneously implanted or externally located. The Scan-Rite� boasts low power operation, flash memory firmware upgrades, optional Bluetooth and serial communications, bright graphic OLED display, vibration user feedback, SD Memory Card storage and three user programmable keys.
