HID Global’s InLine 230/15 UHF Tag features a passive contactless transponder designed to communicate with a reader via radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. With up to a 7 meter read range both on conductive or non-conductive materials, the InLine 230/15 is a viable alternative to active technology. The secure, shock and impact resistant plastic housing provides high resistance to aggressive liquids and excellent stability over fluctuating temperatures, protecting the transponder within. Easily mounted on metal, plastic or wood using standard M5 screws, the InLine 230/15 tag’s optimum antenna design delivers a great read range performance and the chemical resistant housing ensures ongoing long-term performance. The elaborately designed and manufactured housing structure enables the tag to be truly waterproof. The InLine 230/15 UHF Tag is well-suited for all applications in logistics (pallet and container tracking), high-value asset maintenance, repair and overhaul, as well as for high-value asset identification in railroad maintenance applications. Its rugged construction gives it unlimited resistance to mineral acids, a large number of organic acids and aqueous saline solutions. Featuring 512 bits user memory and 240 bits EPC number, the tag offers anti-collision functionality, fast data rate communication, a password for data protection and a large read range of up to 7 meters. Additionally the InLine 230/15 is compliant with EPCglobal-certified UHF Gen 2 readers and modules. Features
