LoRaWAN Wall Switch

The Milesight WS50x is a LoRaWAN wall switch for controlling lights and electrical appliances locally or remotely. The WS50x is available in two standard sizes which can maintain compatibility for most international wall switch types along with the ability to seamlessly replace traditional switches. Common use cases include indoor applications such as in homes, offices, smart buildings and exhibitions.

Easily configure the wall switch with a smartphone using NFC, plus conveniently monitor and control directly from a webpage or mobile app. Automatic triggering can turn on lights through motion detection or set the lights at variating brightness levels. Power consumption measurement and schedule settings help save power and lower electricity bills. Time based features schedules lights to function automatically through set timers. An additional multicast feature can control switches in bulk.

The WS50x has a data transmission range of 15 km in rural areas and 2 km in urban environments. This makes the Milesight wall switch compatible with various industry-standard LoRaWAN gateways. The Milesight D2D (Device to Device) protocol using LoRaWAN enables communication between other Milesight LoRaWAN sensors without using a LoRaWAN gateway.
